Adorable toy and a very nice pattern, the only challenge I had was assembling the 2 sections of the body and wished there had been directions to sew them, the pattern simply said to "sew" them which was not easy to achieve and took several attempts. Sitill, I can't wait to make another one. I use plushed yarn and the size is still very nice.
I looked the pattern mostly, but the feet weren't quite what I was looking for so I changed them a bit. Still, it was well written.

I have crocheted for about 45 years. I believe one would need a good understanding of crocheting in order to follow this pattern. But, the pattern does work up fast. I did use a larger hook to make for my husband. Now to use a smaller hook for a smaller size to fit a 4 year old.

Loved the pattern and the finished cow I made. I just made a small tweak to the fur strands, hooking through a small loop from the middle and passing the ends through it so that it's more secure.

Expect to suddenly become a barber when it comes to the hair and trimming strands to use lol. Overall the pattern was easy to follow and the assembly video was a lot of help. I got it for a request by my mom’s friend to be a gift for my mom and since posting the finished product on my page I’ve already gotten a second request! Very popular gift it seems. 😇

Didnt fit with picture that much from the listing - the Shape was very off. I made a lot of chances to make it look like the listning.
The creator of this person was really wonderful to get back with me whenever I had a question. I did have a lot of questions for me the pattern wasn't as clear as I would have liked it to have been but she did help me out. They turned out great.
I made this on the rush. It worked up really quick and my customer was happy. It was a "parts" amigurumi versus a no sew but still very easy to put together.
I used this pattern as a starting point to make a larger size highland cow. I’m not sure the photo on the cover of this pattern is an actual end result of using this pattern, since the finished cow in the tutorial video doesn’t look like the cow on the cover, but it’s still a cute and easy to follow pattern!

I like the pattern it’s missing some things like how to sew the peak , but if you message the seller they answer it’s good, it doesn’t look like the first picture but it’s cute,
This pattern is definitely not for a beginner. There’s a lot that’s not said in it so you’ve kind of got to interpret it for yourself (like make a tassel, I had to look up separately how to make a tassel). The final product turned out cute but it took me a while to realize the main photo has been AI generated so there’s no way my final product can look as polished. Just seems like false advertising and unnecessary since it’s cute without being AI created.

I have made 2 now and they turn out absolutely adorable. I did not use the method of attaching yarn, like in the video however. There are better ways that won’t make it so easy to pull the “fur” out.

As soon as I looked at the picture on the download I was disappointed to find that it was different from the picture on Etsy. For one thing the paws are made very different and I was expecting the quality of the picture and why I chose to purchase this on Etsy.

So you won't have any problem with the assembly either. :) Enjoy! Mine looks exatly as on the pictures.
Great little Highland”Coo”! Fell in love with these when I was in Scotland so it was so fun to find one to make. Great pattern. Very clear instructions. I played with the fur a little.
A little bit misleading using an AI photo instead of an actual photo of the finished product. Finished product doesn't look the same, but it is still cute and was an easy pattern to follow.

I followed the pattern twice, and mine looked different and not appealing. I made some changes and got closer and turned out cute. Rounds 7-21 of the body have incorrect stitch count.

This item was a pdf. Once I started it I realized mine was not coming out the same even though I was following the directions. I had to incorporate some of my own stitches to get it to look right the instructions were not great as far as what colors to use. Did not tell you what materials or hook size to use I request help with this and no one ever got back to me. I just winged it and it came out looking nice but not like the picture shown.

Made the hat for my sister and she loves it. The pattern as is makes a small adult size. I asked the vendor on how to make bigger sizes and she did! I made the hat using raffia instead of yarn.

The pattern was fairly easy to follow but they didn’t say there’s a YouTube tutorial. Mine didn’t come out with smooth fur like the photo.
I wouldn't recommend this pattern to anyone who didn't know what they were doing already. The assembly instructions are vague and the instructions on the head nearly led to a lopsided face. (I had to completely ignore the instructions for rounds 8+9 and just make it up) And the instructions for the fur wasn't great since a single tug would undo all your hard work and pull a big chunk of it out. But the base pattern is fine. Ignoring the face issue the shapes all come out correctly. And the end result was really cute. But to get there needed to rely on my own experience making similar dolls more than I liked. The customer service rating is middling because the video link was bad. I was able to contact the seller to get a new one, but it took a while. The video only covers assembly so it won't help with crocheting the head piece.

This little guy is the absolute cutest! The instructions were easy to follow. I changed the hat to give it a more bucket hat look by doing a back loop stitch on round 5 of the hat instructions and continued with the pattern instructions. I’m giving this to a friend and I’m planning on making more because it’s cute, easy and quick to make and give as gifts.,

Such an easy pattern, the finished product was beautiful. If you are a new crochet or, the pattern for the feet themselves is not well written and has a few mistakes, but if you’re experienced, you can make the feet work. Overall, the pattern was great.

The video to add the hair doesn’t actually show you knotting it to the cow so I did my own thing. The video leaves the hair unattached basically and can be pulled out. Otherwise, the cow is cute and easy to make.
Love, love, love this pattern! I have made so many! Each one has a different personality depending on the placement of the head. And the size is different depending on the chosen yarn. I will continue to grow my herd.

I think the cow turned out great! Just be aware that the cover photo for the pattern is a glamorized (generated?) version of the actual item. It’s still cute though and the pattern was easy to follow!
The cover photo is definitely AI generated, but after seeing the reviews with other people's work I felt more confident to try it out. I used Himalaya dolphin baby with a 3.5mm hook. Had to burn the ends of the fur to keep the chenille from shedding. I'm still not done weaving in the hair but I wanted to leave my review because it looks really cute so far!

Pattern generally easy to understand and was pleased with the end result. A few minor niggles - ears did not seem to look like in the video, pattern & video contradict on whether horns should be stuffed and instructions on making & attaching tassels could help. My main negative is the suggested way of attaching the fur, which would allow it to come out very easily. I instead just pulled a centre loop through and then threaded both ends of the strand through the loop to fasten it securely.

I loved this little cow as soon as I saw him! The pattern was good, but I would have liked a tutorial video for crocheting the parts as well as assembling them. It all worked out in the end though so I was pleased with the finished item! 😊

The ears aren't as big as the pattern, I think the instructions were a little off so next one I'll correct that

Pattern pretty easy to follow for someone who crochets Amigurumi a lot. Video, not overly helpful. Attaching of the hair would just pull out, the way they show( needs to be knotted on)

As a beginner crocheter this was a little ambitious for me however the pattern was easy to follow & im happy with the results. Adding the “hair” definitely took longer than making the body. It’s deceptive how long that part takes haha.
Fun to crochet most of it, but attaching the hairs was time consuming and tedious. Hopefully my sister likes it.

Very easy to crochet the hair is what took the longest for me, but other than that a very easy pattern to follow.
The product picture is heavily filtered. Do not expect your final piece to look like that. The pattern itself was very easy to follow. The pictures were helpful, as was the video. I didn't care for how the creator added the long hair, so I attached mine with knots. Overall, it was fun little pattern.
This was such a fun pattern to make. I don’t normally crochet amigurumi, but wanted to make this for my son’s girlfriend for Valentine’s. I used acrylic #4 yarn in Loops & Threads Impeccable because that brand had the colors I was looking for in the store. I’m sure I could have ordered DK yarn online, but I needed to go ahead and get started on it.

It was easy to make from the description. The link to the video just doesn't work. I figured it out by looking up “fur highland cow crochet”.
Bought this pattern to make for my mother-in-laws birthday. I would class myself as a beginner having only started crochet in November. I found this pattern very easy to follow and easy to make. Everything was clear and concise and the create even supplies a video of how to assemble and place the hairs. My MIL loves the colourful cow artwork by steven brown, so I changed the hairs to multi coloured and super happy with how it turned out!
Pattern was fairly simple to follow, although a beginner may struggle with attaching all the parts. I'm a little disappointed with the actual picture that represents the pattern as I feel it's AI generated.

I was almost done and couldn’t find my link to the instruction video. When I reached out, she responded immediately and sent me the link again. I used paintbox cotton aran yarn, which turned out cute, but was a bit of a pain … so choose your yarn wisely 😅
